And for a gourmet such as yourself, you and the lady of the house will make an instant connection. In a unique setting in the heart of the Marne Valley, and one that Dominique knows like the back of her hand, your host will take you to visit the barrel cellars and wine cellar, the highlight being the four tonnes of steel and wood that make up the pride of the house: the wine press. This will be followed by a relaxed tasting of the family’s various crus or, if you like, a special introduction to wine tasting that will teach you how to look at, smell and listen to the champagne to best understand its subtle nuances. Dominique also has a gîte, “Le Danon”, next door to Maison Vigneronne and the perfect base from which to explore the Champagne region.
