Come and meet the region’s wine-growers at their annual festival rooted in the Catalan terroir –all in an idyllic setting in the shade of the pine trees facing the Mediterranean. This is the first festival devoted entirely to wine in Roussillon, a heady blend of wine, gastronomy and music with experts on hand.

The entire terroir comes under the spotlight in June in the enchanting setting of the park at Château de Valmy. Twenty or so wine-growers attend so you can taste the wines of Roussillon alongside local products.

The festival also boasts an eclectic musical programme that will sweep you off your feet, with top names from the French and international scene on stage from the early evening.

All the ingredients are there for an incomparable time in Catalan country.
