Wine Sensory Experience

Enjoy a wine sensory experience as a couple or with friends, all in a sumptuous setting in the heart of the Beaujolais region. An unforgettable moment that will truly awaken your senses! Château de Pizay handles its own production, from winemaking to bottling, and is the perfect setting for a wine initiation course. The eight thematic workshops are held in one of the cellars of this 14th century château, transformed into a veritable treasure trove for wine. This fun-packed “wine sensory” course will unlock the secrets behind wine’s aromas, flavours, tannins and ageing.

Discovery & tasting area

You can then put your newly acquired knowledge to the test in the “discovery/tasting” area overlooking the stunning 17th century French garden. Wander through this cellar and its three distinct zones as you explore the Château’s own crus, from fruity to more complex wines, using the automated sample dispensers. This fun experience is the perfect opportunity to develop your palate and master the art of oenology – with your very own “Taste Vin” diploma to prove it!
