Dig out your finest cycling shorts, we’re sending you and your trusty bike off on the Alsace Wine Road Cycle Route.

This cycle path between Marlenheim and Thann runs alongside the Alsace Wine Road and is a paradise for gourmet connoisseurs such as yourself. Running along the eastern slopes of the Vosges mountains, this cycling route passes through around 100 winegrowing villages, including the magnificent Bergheim, Obernai and Eguisheim, voted France’s favourite village. To refuel, you’ll pass through the 51 “Alsace Grand Cru AOC” terroirs, so there will be plenty of opportunities to top up your bottle. With outstanding vineyards, picture postcard landscapes, and sounds of nature as background music, you’ll soon relax and unwind on this adventure. If you prefer to explore the region with less effort, you can rent an electric bike from one of Alsace’s 30 movélo network stations (tourist offices, hotels and restaurants, camp sites, etc.)
