At Château Rayne Vigneau, Clémence and Vincent have taken the Dinner in the Sky concept to new, Sauternes, heights with tastings in a 100-year old, 12-metre tall cedar tree.

At the top you’ll get to enjoy a bottle of Grand Cru and a stunning view of the Sauternes vineyards. Supervised by a qualified instructor, you’ll be harnessed up and asked to climb (or rather, hoist) yourself up to a suspended table. Not exactly a canopy view, but almost. Rayne Vigneau also offers pony trekking through the vineyard, and a chance to combine sports activities with a wine tasting. Just a few of the ways to enjoy this less well-known appellation.
