Tours, international city of gastronomy, celebrates Vitiloire one weekend each May. 150 wine growers will make you discover wines and food from the Loire Valley region.

Vitiloire in Tours, on May 27 and 28, what’s that? 150 or so enthusiastic wine owners from the Loire Valley vineyard flanked with a bunch of chefs from the same area are taking possesion of Tours town centre.

They are expecting you indeed! See for yourself: Come to discover and taste the Loire valley wines, e.g. Muscadet, Anjou, Touraine, Sancerre and food from the vicinity thanks to wine tastings, food workshops as well as wine bars…

You can also treat yourselves to a stroll or a ride across the vineyards ! Do take part: You are most welcomed!

It’s white wine in glasses and colours on canvases for a major art weekend in the heart of the wine region. This has been the focus of the International Fair of Contemporary Art of Pouilly Fumé for several years.

The event has become a staple of the springtime wine and culture calendar, and for this latest edition artists personally chosen by winemakers will be taking over fifteen different locations.

For four days the wineries will host visitors and be transformed into pop-up art galleries.

Painters and winemakers will work together to present visitors their paintings and cellars: a feast for the eyes and the taste buds!

Summertime is party-time in Beaujolais and it's free ! Outdoors, 5 days a week starting at 7pm . Guinguettes (open air cafés with dance floor), quizzes, concerts, night markets, and of course the chance to discover local produce. Good times galore!

Almost 2,000 walkers are preparing to set out in the Savoie sunshine on a walk through the vines to meet the wine-growers. Our path wends its way through grandiose landscapes. Guided by the towering bulk of Mont Granier, our steps will be spurred on by the tantalising promise of delicious breaks prepared by chefs who have deserted their kitchens to spoil us with tasty treats to savour among the vines...
