Feast day at Domaine de Siorac Gourmet connoisseur Bergerac

Feast day at Domaine de Siorac

This event at Domaine de Siorac, in Dordogne’s St Aubin de Cadelech, was made for gourmet connoisseurs such as yourself. On the third Friday of July each year Domaine de Siorac holds a farmer’s market. This local institution is a festive affair with wine, food and music. After the market, you’ll be able to taste some of the estate’s different Bergerac wines, dance to the music played by a local band and dine on produce offered by local partner producers. Expect to eat your fill of duck, goose, cheese and vegetables, all raised or grown in the Périgord. There’s just one condition: bring your own cutlery. Aside from this special event, the 27-hectare (66-acre) family-run estate also offers visits with a twist. For several years, Jean-Paul and Carine Landat, the owners, have come up with a number of original ideas for visitors keen to explore their vines. “Winemaker's sandwich”, geocaching or exploring the area on a Segway. Enough to keep young and old alike busy for an afternoon.
